One circuit, three product lines
The CC-100 captures impulse current that a system throws away and feeds part of it back. Current RF offers it as a chip, as IP for your own silicon, and as plug-in modules.

IC and IP
The CC-100 IC is the base technology. Current RF produces it on the GlobalFoundries CM018RF process and supplies it on request. The same circuit is also offered as IP you can import into digital and mixed-signal ICs: CC-100IP, CC-100IP-RF for on-chip RF and EMI reduction, CC-100IP-PI for adjustable impedance control, and CC-100IP-MB, the Mileage Booster IP.
Two further blocks target power delivery inside the die. CurrentRF PowerPad is dynamic power reduction IP that replaces the power and ground bondpads. CurrentRF PowerGrid is a digital power-grid overlay. Current RF reports capacitance multiplication, series inductance nullification and EMI reduction from the IP; the datasheets give the conditions behind each figure.
The RF IP set runs from CC-201IP to CC-205IP: an ultra-low-noise amplifier, a super inductor, a power amplifier and a wideband CMOS rectifier. Read the IC detail on the integrated circuits page and the RF blocks on the radio frequencies page.
Current RF also offers services. It will power-analyze your ICs and systems, then design or retrofit its IP into the device. Evaluation boards and reference designs are available on request, and so is pricing.

Data-center modules
PowerStic and Exodus are USB plug-in devices built around the CC-100 circuit. They go into an empty USB port on a computer or network device and recycle waste energy back into the system. The USB connection is only a convenient point of attachment: Current RF says the saving comes from the circuit and the high-frequency coupling present in any data-processing system, and the system theory note covers the mechanism.
Current RF estimates that, with even moderate data-processing activity, the purchase cost of a PowerStic or Exodus is recovered within three months of operation. That is a company estimate. The supporting test data is published as application notes, including server total cost of ownership and workstation power reduction, on the datasheets page.
You do not have to take the estimate on trust. Current RF runs a loaner program: apply for a loaner PowerStic or Exodus and measure the result on your own machines. Send your request through the contact form, and say how many systems you want to test. The full data-center write-up is on the cloud computing page.
Vehicle and e-mobility modules
The consumer modules put the same current-recycling idea into vehicles. The EV Mileage Booster sits in series with the ground terminal of the DC-Link capacitors. The ICE, diesel and hybrid version clips across the battery terminals like jumper cables. The Range Extender Accessory plugs into the unused charging port of an e-bike, e-scooter or e-skateboard. Mileage results are Current RF test figures, not independent measurements.
